In order to appease her softer, more compassionate side, Secretary of Homeland Security Janet Napolitano is erasing the words "terrorist" and "terrorism" from her vocabulary. An ardent practitioner of trickle-down coercion, all of Obama's Cabinet members and Government officials, workers, etc. are also banned from using these terms. This also impacts the acronym GWOT, or Global War On Terror. Seems GWOT just wasn't quite catchy enough.

How are we to verbalize "terrorists" and "terrorism" now? Try the much admired and favored "Man-Caused Disasters" and in place of GWOT we now have the much more catchy OCO or "Overseas Contingency Operation."

Someone please tell our wussy Secretary of Homeland Security that changing the terminology does not actually make us safer. Just because she along with the rest of the knuckleheads in Washington are going to use fluffier terms, this alone will not prevent what are forseeable future terrorist attacks. I am thinking Janet may not be cut out for this job after all.

Surprisingly, I could get used to this terminology though. I know of some Man-Caused Disasters...
