Word of the Day Online

The illustrious Senator Jay Rockefeller, well past his prime, from the mountain-lovin' energy-producing coal mining state of West Virginia let his feelings about his fellow Americans be known yesterday on the Senate floor:

"I'm tired of the right and the left. There's a little bug inside of me which wants to get the FCC to say to Fox and to MSNBC, 'Out. Off. End. Goodbye.' It would be a big favor to political discourse; to our ability to do our work here in Congress; and to the American people, to be able to talk with each other and have some faith in their government, and, more importantly, in their future."

What an ass. So, here's my letter to him:

Dear Senator Rockefeller:

I can not believe you actually said that you wish the FCC would shut down FoxNews and MSNBC. America was created specifically to allow for freedom of thought and speech. Your comment means that you wish to censor those whom YOU believe are hurtful to America.

Sir, I believe that YOU should be censored. Or perhaps, censured.
