Screw the Economy! No - Let's Screw With Rush Instead!

Those Democrats are so lame.

The august body that is the Democratic National Committe is spending their time going after Rush Limbaugh rather than promoting their own values, which on second thought may be a better road for them to travel after all. Why the charge? Rush's innocent little "I HOPE HE FAILS" shot heard 'round the world in regards to our bro President Barack Hussein Obama.

At any rate, the DNC in true democratic fashion held a contest to have all their little brethren come up with a snarky slogan that will be posted on a billboard in Rush's hometown in Florida (that perennially sunny spot down south with minimally clad buff guys and gals and no state income tax.) Naturally, I entered the contest with a pro-Rush slogan of which I can not recall the text and since then the Dems have reached out to this downtrodden citizen AKA "potential constituent with woman's issues" to permit me to vote on my favorite of their best of the best slogans submitted by other marginalized and bucketized Americans.

The Democratic Party
 WOTDO --

Last week, I asked if you had a message you'd like to send Rush Limbaugh. The response was overwhelming. We received tens of thousands of submissions, and we picked the top five:
  • "Americans didn't vote for a Rush to failure"

  • "Hope and change cannot be Rush'd"

  • "Failure is not an option for America's future"

  • "We can fix America, just don't Rush it"

  • "Rush: Say yes to America"
Now, we're putting it up for a vote. Decide which slogan Rush will see in his home town.

The slogan with the most votes will be put on a billboard where Rush can't miss it.

It's up to you to let Rush know that Americans reject his desire to see President Obama -- and our country -- fail.

Vote for your favorite slogan now:

I especially loved the "Please Donate" button. Of course, I just had to write back to Ms. O'Malley Dillon, just another Irish lass giving the rest of us a bad name:

You guys are so lame and yes, I, and the rest of the non-Harvard types, knew that Obama would fail even before he was elected. That's why instead of voting for that one we voted for the other one.

Anyway, here's my selection albeit with a minor tweak:

Rush Said: "Yes to America"

See you in November '10!

All the best,

WOTDO

And the winning message? "Americans Didn't Vote for a Rush to Failure."  Well, we're already there my peeps!

Rollicking good fun tis'nt it how Democrats think Rush arrogant and then only increase the size of his round head by promoting how gosh darn "powerful" Rush is through this infantile retribution. It's reminiscent of schoolyard kids sticking "Kick Me" post-its on each other's backs.

Don't the Democrats realize they're only spending their own devalued dollars to further advertise Rush's top-syndicated radio show? Oh that's right. They're not really up to speed on all that "economy" stuff.

And that's the word of the day. - WOTDO

Shiver Me Timbers! It's the Law of the Sea Treaty!

Senator Mark Warner
What Say You Seantor of an Ocean-Bordering State?
As the Democrats in Congress are so excited to do at every turn, they are again drooling while drudging up unpopular relic legislation that appeals to their current socialistic sensibilities. Yes, their world view is a little strange when it comes to the United States and its role in the world. For Democrats it's always Them before Us. Case in point: Senator Kerry reviving interest in the United Nation's "Law of the Sea" Treaty. The treaty intends to regulate the seas in a way that clarifies how ocean-bordering nations may use them and protects the rights of seafaring ships which are helpful in some respects. But, it also requires that the participants adhere to the governing by an international body that may or may not consider the best interests of an individual country - namely the United States. For this citizen of the U.S., the Law of the Sea Treaty appears to be just another way to hand over more of our own sovereignty to the "others."

Dear Hon. Warner:

I understand that the Senate is considering ratifying the UN Law of the Sea Treaty. While on the surface this seems a prudent thing to do based on the guaranteed 200 mile territory into the oceans from our coasts and our Navy's guarantee of "safe passage" through all the globe's seaways I can see why, seeing that it is already over 30 years old, we have chosen not to ratify it to date.

Secretary Clinton: Two States!

Two Parties, Two States, Two Paths

Mrs. Hillary Rodham Clinton continues to build upon her ambassadorial resume in preparation for her role as Secretary of State under the Obama administration by visiting with state leaders in Israel and Syria this week. On their agenda is the unceasing conflict between Israel and the Palestinians. To Clinton, a two state solution "seems inescapable." Granted, Israel and Palestine have the same ultimate goal - peace. No, I'm just kidding. We all know their real goal is the eradication of each other. But will Clinton's suggesting, er, forcing(?) a two state solution really fix the problem? Who wants to be the first to ante into the kitty that upon proposed separation, Palestine will proceed to launch their remaining missiles over the wall into Israel? Remember, these people believe that the land of Israel is theirs and will never stop fighting for it. Nope, a two state solution will only result in a new conflict - a conflict to return to one state albeit with a flip-flop in power.

I still admire Mrs. Clinton's pluck in suggesting this obviously obvious yet utterly obviously wrong solution. I admire it because it gives me hope that Clinton may use her feminine wiles to influence the rest of the clowns on Capitol Hill and in the Cabinet to be open to a two state solution for other historical territorial disputes. Case in point: the unUnited States of America and the citizenry's dispute over control of Capitol Hill and the White House. Can you hear the "Battle Hymn of the Republic" playing in the background?

Gordoen Brown
Gordon Brown: Not nearly as delightful as Chef Gordon Ramsay
Tea, Taxes & Texarkana

Not since the days of King George III have we felt as akin to the United Kingdom as we do now. Apparently this must be the case considering Prime Minister Gordon Brown's impending visit on Tuesday with our dear President Obama at his very own White House.

Admittedly, I prefer the brotherly love shared by President Dubya and PM Tony Blair back in the days of the good 'ol Iraq War II. At least then I had peace knowing that our shared views were headed in the right direction - East. It seems now that the newly enthroned Obama and Labour Party DJ Brown of Sherwood Forest have their sights set on destroying the West and all it has to offer by way of plunder and stockpiling of riches inasmuch as Socialists collect riches off of the backs of hard-working taxpayers and in true Robin Hood-style fashion a la mode spread the wealth around to those who have their open palms held out as if waiting for a slather of fresh apple butter. Marie Antoinette was right when she was unqualifiedly accused of saying "Let them eat cake" but our own street urchins will have to do without cake or bread and instead rely on their fingertips from which to lick their granny smith apple butter.
